Tony and nick are very legit people and this place gives the most cash hands down. I got a better loan here on 5k worth of studio equipment than other pawn shops were even willing to buy my stuff for.
The owner, Tony, is a straight forward in person. Don't try to bs him and you won't get it in return. Try visiting the shop instead of letting your fingers do the walking. They are busy and get all kinds, which makes it difficult to spend much effort on the phone. I have shopped with him for over 20 years and have never had a problem. Really.
when you use a pawn shop keep in mind you are just borrowing money based on a percentage value of what you own, not it's full amount. Tony and Nick are fair men, much better than most. They will stretch the loan value and lower the interest if you are a good repeat customer. Redeem it under 14 days and interest is a fraction.
The owner of this shop has a vast knowledge of high end articles and is fair on his pricing. I bought a high quality watch for what I consider a more than fair price. I have been collecting for over 30 years.
I've been going to this pawn shop for 20+ years and trust me their isn't a pawn shop like this anywhere else in Houston. I really have to wonder if the ugly posts are because people can't get one over on these guys, because they know their business real well! If you are looking for cheap merchandiseand a cheap deal, this isn't the place for you to shop. This store is for people with brains that are knowledgeable and understand a good deal on high-end merchandise. Tony is a tell it like it is guy, if you want someone to kiss your ass go get a manicure!if you want to see some incredible stuff at reasonable prices shop there!
I have done business with this pawn shop for years and have always been exceptionally pleased with the same. Excellent merchandise and very knowledgable owner. Don't insult Tony with asinine questions or suggested values and he will deal with you in an intelligent, straight forward manner. I highly recommend his shop.
had a great time with Tony his associate at A&P! They treated me with respect and gave me a great deal on a bass worth a lot of money! I think they are such kool cat's that i'm going back today too pick up more music equipment! I highly recommend them too you all! what more can you ask for! thanks everyone and visit A&P I HAVE BEEN A MUSICIAN FOR 30 YEARS AND DONE LOTS OF BUISNESS WITH PAWN SHOPS AND THEY TREATED ME GREAT! GOD BLESS JAVI
They have nice stuff, but are rude and way over priced. You'd be better off going elsewhere and purchasing the item(s) new. They aren't interested in making good deals. They'd rather have the merch sitting on the shelf for months and months at a time.Instead of selling it to someone with CASH in hand..I'm not going to pay 1,300 for a Roland Fantom that came out in 2003 used or even new. When they go from 600-800.Make sure you know your stuff like the guy or girl below said or they'll try to get over on you. Don't believe me. Do what you want. YOUR LOSS
I can't lie to you.I heard about this place through an associate. They have tons of music equipment, but the people that run the show there are complete assholes, a bunch of know it alls, and GuitarCenter rejects TRUST me. Make sure that when you visit you've done your homework/research before hand or they will try to hustle you.The prices for most of the items are nowhere near reasonable and to high for a Pawn Shop. You would be better off going down the street to guitarcenter and buying the item(s) new. That's why most of the items that they try to sell, never get sold because to them they could care less about taking care of you as a customer or trying t
Look these guys know what they are doing. THEY HAVE A NO BS concept. They run a business. Yeah the older guy may seem short but honestly like another poster stated, YOU GOT TO KNOW EM TO LOVE EM. The place is clean, and your in and out in less that 5 minutes.
Bought merchandise that was supposed be new. Item was not fully functioning although advertised as such and subsequently useless to me. They refused to work with me and would not refund or exchange. Then they said they would reimburse me if I got it repaired so I found the repair shop recommended by the manufacturer. The pawn shop then refused to even paid for it to be looked at. I will never do business with them again.
I love these guys. It's not your average pawn shop and they don't like dumb questions. If you are looking to haggle a bit these guys will play ball so long as the game is fair. Been taking my business here for 5 years now. They might seem a little short with you but that's just how they are: straight to the point and no BS.
Ya gotta know em to love em, and they will take care of you, been that way for me since 1985!
Very rude over the phone..doesnt seem like they are very friendly
IF YOU WANT HI END STUFF SHOP HERE, YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELIVE IT.
if your looking for high end studio and music equipment this is the place for you always have cool items and a great staff
I was looking for some musical equipment and the owner was not interested in negotiating with me ,I had a couple of thousand to spend but I wanted several items. He was very rude so I left.
You just have to see it, This is not your run of the mill Pawnshop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tony runs the best pawn shop in Houston-very knowledgeable and tries to get only the best for his customers.
