Comments:  These guy are very rude, and act like they are doing you a service by selling you a firearm. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they went out of business. THE CUSTOMER IS NOT RIGHT HERE, NO MATTER WHAT.

Comments:  I made a trip to Dallas from Oklahoma in Jan 2013. While i was there I googled Best Gun Shop Dallas and just happened across Bachmans. I called first and spoke with an older woman who was very pleasant and checked inventory on 3 different pistols I was looking for. I had very specific models and she checked on them all. Keep in mind this is right after all the hype and hysteria on gun sales and she didn't hesitate. They had several variations of what i was looking for but only one exactly I wanted. I ended up getting a Seecamp .32 for a low to avg. price. Definitely not gouged up like many other places during this time. Even more surprising

Comments:  I had a pleasant experiencing my gun 2 days ago. White haired gentleman was very friendly and helpful being that this was my first firearm purchase. A cop buddy recommended that I go there as that is where he get all of his stuff. Prices arent the greatest but they were helpful and had a great selection. I will return for my rifle purchase.

Comments:  Took a gun in there to find out what it was worth. The owner himself looked at it and sold me a bill of goods telling me I'd be lucky to get a certain amount for it. I've done business with them before but this was the first time I've had a gun valued by them. Based on previous dealings I've had with them I took him at his word, my mistake. I didn't need to sell the gun and based on what he told me how it was not one of the higher end models that would be more valuable I figured a few hundred dollars was a few hundred dollars. I took his offer and more of my cash and bought a scope he had in the store. Went in there today and there's the gun in his r

Comments:  I called them 4 months ago to ask about a Barrett 50 they advertised in Shotgun News. Guy on the phone unhelpful...actually rude. I didn't buy gun from them. And no I don't have a gun shop or a pawn shop....i'm in banking. Too bad too, cuz it was a good price.

Comments:  I have bought guns from Bachman since the early 1990's. I used to live in Dallas, and bought guns from the store and now at the guns shows. They have always been very friendly and helpful. I feel as though I have always received a good price.

Comments:  I'm really glad to find forums like this because it's informative to know how other people are treated by a business. I came across Bachman Pawn at the Fort Worth gun show while looking for a Kimber Eclipse. They actually had one which was in the high end of my price range, however, the salesman just wasn't very friendly. It seemed like his attitude was more about how lucky I was that they were there than about how lucky they were that I was considering making a purchase from them. Anyway, the salesman's attitude really turned me off, so I said the heck with them and ended up finding another Kimber Eclipse at another dealer for $45 less. Based on my

Comments:  This is a reply to the negative comments about my earlier post. First I am not a competitor of theirs. My pawnshops are in WI. Second I never disagreed with their advertised price. It was very fair and I was willing to pay it, but before I sent a check for 8500.00 I wanted to know answers to some simple questions like, “is it new old stock or a current production model?” “ does it come complete with all the accessories as it comes from the factory?” “ do you have any feeback on gunbroker or Tom Bowers pages etc. so I can be sure I will actually receive the firearm?”. Those are the only 3 questions I wanted to ask and these guys didn’t hav

Comments:  ...he must be a competitor of Bachman's, as he bothered to slam them twice in almost two months about THE SAME TRANSACTION! Ok, so you had problems with them once, but why repeat your story again so long after it happened. Of course, maybe it didn't really happen, and you tried to buy a $10,000 gun for $8,500, and the problem was YOU. I've never had any trouble at all with them, but then, I don't hold a grudge as well as you do, either.

Comments:  I tried to buy a gun from them for 8500.00 yes $8500.00 and the salesperson was so arrogant and apathetic that I bought it from acusport for $8850.00 instead. I've been in the gun business for 15 years and have owned 2 pawnshops for 12 years and I'm a pretty nice guy. I can't, for the life of me figure out why they were such pricks especially when I was trying to buy a firearm from them for $8500.00!! It just doesn't make any sense. Im a relatively intelligent person, and I know the gun business pretty well, its not like I was asking a bunch of stupid meaningless questions I just wanted to ask a few simple questions before I sent them a money order for 8500.00. I think most people can relate with that. I even tried to call them back to finish the deal but when I tried to tell the "manager" that I had had a problem with one of his sales people, because I thought he might want to know, he blew up at me mid sentence and said "I don't have time for this shi...crap! If you don't like the way we do things go somewhere else!" So I did. I told him thank you I guess I will. I admit I didn't expect that. I'm pretty sure I've ordered guns from them before but I will never do it again. It takes a man to have a little patience, to be friendly when he has been having a bad day. It only takes an idiot to be a whiny, temper tantrum having, impatient, bit--. I hope these pricks learn how to man up a little.

Comments:   price was good and the salesman took extra time to explain operation of the gun and the proper usage. the salesman even pointed out less expensive ammo for target practice. good experience overall.
